Today we are talking about forgiveness which is quite possibly one of my favourite topics and practices. There is a reason that forgiveness is an underlying thread in most religions and spiritual practices, and that is because it is the foundation of our healing and self-actualization.
We all grapple with our willingness to forgive. Some of us have been holding on to grievances and the pain of betrayal for years, if not decades. Sometimes our lack of willingness comes from how we have identified with the pain we’ve been caused and how we’ve used that to shape our narrative. Other times we hold onto our grievances in an effort to hold others accountable and remind them of the pain they have caused, which is an incredibly large burden to place upon ourselves.
So if you’ve held onto burdens and grievances for way too long now, or are just simply ready to let go so you can return home to yourself, then I offer you the replay from this past Sunday’s Light Talk.
Make sure you watch to the end for the cliff notes version of my forgiveness meditation and my challenge to you.
