The answers we turn away from.
What we intentionally deny or reject.
We pray, we meditate, we ask for solutions to our problems, answers to our questions.
And yet, situations arise in our lives that we intentionally turn away from.
We decide that; nope not going there, not interacting with that person, not entering that situation, definitely not putting myself out there.
So consider this, what if the things we are intentionally turning away from, are actually the answers we are seeking.
The experiences, emotions, and desires that we deny ourselves, we also deny others. Click To TweetWhat if the solution lies exactly in what we don’t want to face?
Mastin Kipp says, our fear is a compassing showing us where to go. It’s pointing us in the direction of our desires.
Our fear of past experiences replaying themselves taints our perception of the present moment, and certainly shapes our future experiences.

What have you chosen to reject and why? And is your why, really the reason why? We may be able to rationally justify our answers, and perhaps even believe them, at least on the surface. But when we dig just a little deeper we find that answers we’ve constructed are quite literally coming apart at the seams. Because they were fabrications, illusions we created, to avoid dealing with the real work to be done.

If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.
The simplicity of the answers you seek doesn’t mean there won’t be a trail to blaze, or rough and awkward terrain ahead.
But if we turn away from the answers that are already in front of us, we wait tirelessly for an answer or solution that resembles one of our own understanding or interpretation.
