Hi there beautiful warriors.
I’ve been so immersed in my writing and the podcast launch, that I thought today I would share something a little lighter. Because lightness, just feels so good. As I sat in my car this morning, gazing out at the changing leaves, I thought about Mother Nature and the metaphors of our lives.
And so I wrote you this poem.
Can you be like the trees?
A poem for the sweet release of autumn
The weather is changing,
And with it comes the coolness of autumn air.
It doesn’t feel harsh or withdrawn,
Instead, its coolness feels invigorating and restorative.
If we are of open heart.I look to the trees,
Who lavishly shed their leaves.
They do so, free from the fear,
Of barren branches come the spring. They do so, fully trusting in Mother Nature,
And the natural order of all things.
The cool crisp air,
Lulling them into a gentle sleep.Turning inwards,
Resting and renewing.
Preparing for the beauty,
And abundance that is certain to come. And so I ask you,
Can you be like the trees?
Can you release lavishly,
Free from fear and heart wide open?
Spread some light and tweet it out:
