So even if the hot loneliness is there, and for 1.6 seconds we sit with that restlessness when yesterday we couldn’t sit for even one, that’s the journey of the warrior.
That’s it. That’s the warrior’s journey. Sit with your pain a little longer than you were able to sit with it yesterday. For those of us who don’t spend our time running from our pain, this is the journey we’re on.
Running from our pain only creates unnecessary suffering. Pain is unavoidable, suffering is voluntary.
