Hi there Beautiful Warriors,
Feels like I’ve been away from this space for such a long time, and in essence, I have been since my last post was in November. I was fortunate enough to give myself the month of December off to write and work on my first book. There isn’t a whole lot I can share just yet, but I can tell you that it is finished, and it’s beautiful. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever felt prouder of something I’ve created. Over the coming weeks we’ll work through the edits of the manuscript before we prepare for print, and hopefully, I’ll be able to share some goodies and nuggets with you along the way. So stay tuned, because there is more coming on the book front.
In the meantime, I’ll be blogging and posting more, sharing posts, articles, and small pieces of poetry. You can also follow me on Instagram, where I also share some musing and love notes. This week’s words come from that moment in meditation, where the world slows down and your breath becomes still. Where things suddenly seem clear and pristine. What if we lived our lives in that state?
What if you looked through your heart?
What if you were still?
What if your breath was so slow and steady,
that you knew you were alive only through the beating of your heart.
What if you looked, felt, and lived through your heart?
Immersed in that stillness.
What would life be?
Would you still see your enemy,
or instead, would you see their innocence?
Would you still see their hatred, anger, and violence,
or instead, would you see their pain?
Would you still see that which separates us and makes us different,
Or instead, would you see all the ways in which we are the same?
Hearts beating and searching for love.
